Decentralized Identity
Overview
For many, XO will be the start of their decentralized identity. The friends they make in XO, the content they create, as well as user feedback through our appraisal system, will all be stored on-chain in the future. As mentioned in Verifiable Trustworthiness, we use DIDs to fight fake accounts and bots when a user connects their wallet to XO. However, for new Web2 users, XO plans to create a wallet for each new user so that they can start building their decentralized identity through their interaction and posts on XO, participate in Chat2Earn, and unlock the power of SocialFi NFTs.
